- ★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆I find it disturbing and offensive that the founder of this organization continues to market herself as someone who "helps" victims of abuse when she tried to put me and my former physically and emotionally abusive husband through couples counseling because "God hates divorce." Everyone knows couples counseling is the worst thing to do to a victim of abuse. Domestic violence is not about cause and effect - no matter what the abuser or any church counselor may say. It is perpetrated by one person and one person alone who operates from a paradigm of power and control.
